Will a 40 mm Lunar watch fit my wrist?

The Lunar case is 40 mm wide, 8.8 mm thick and 45 mm from lug to lug. Compare these measurements with a watch you already wear: wrist shape and your preferred fit matter as well as circumference. What materials are used, and how do I care for the finish?

Lunar watches have a 316L stainless steel case and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The colour and strap depend on the version you choose. Scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof: avoid impacts and abrasive surfaces. Wipe the case with a soft cloth and keep leather straps dry.

What does 5 ATM water resistance mean for my Lunar watch?

The Lunar is rated at 5 ATM / 50 m and can handle rain and splashes during handwashing. The rating is a test pressure, not a diving depth. Avoid hot showers, saunas, diving and high-pressure water. Keep leather straps out of water, and never operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.

Is the Lunar a quartz watch with a real moonphase?

Yes. The Japanese MIYOTA 6P00 is a battery-powered quartz movement with day, date, month and moonphase displays. The moonphase follows the waxing and waning of the moon once set correctly. It does not require automatic winding. Follow the Lunar watch manual when setting the calendar and moonphase.

Can I change between a metal bracelet and a leather strap?

Yes. The Lunar bracelet and compatible leather straps can be changed with a spring-bar tool. The bracelet-adjustment tool is for shortening the metal bracelet. Check the strap selected on the product page before ordering; a second strap is not included unless stated. Ask us to confirm compatibility before buying a replacement.

You are welcome to try it on and inspect it as you would in a shop. Please return the box and included accessories too. If the watch is defective or we sent the wrong item, contact us and we will cover the return shipping.

We ship from the Netherlands with PostNL. Shipping is free; import charges are separate where applicable.

Netherlands: 1–2 business days after dispatch.

EU: 3–5 business days after dispatch.

United States: a fixed €25 contribution towards import duties and customs handling is added at checkout, once per order. We arrange prepayment through PostNL and cover the remaining import costs.
